Jyotish - Vedic Astrology

Jyotish means the ‘science of light’ and is a profound form of astrology that has its origins in the ancient Vedic tradition of India. The unique constellation of the planets at the time of your birth (exact time, date and place of birth are necessary information) is like an individual road map that can be used at any time in life to gain guidance and insight. Vedic Astrology was historically practiced alongside Ayurveda as the principles that form the foundation of both Ayurveda and Vedic Astrology are based in deep observation of nature. While Vedic Astrology analyzes the relationship between an individual and the cosmos, Ayurveda understands the relationship between the individual and his local environment. The analysis of the cosmic influences at the time of birth shows the inborn constitution, factors which are likely to imbalance it and the ability to predict timing for those imbalances. Constitutional weaknesses and their psychological correlates can be seen through planetary placements and remedial measures are prescribed to support health and alleviate suffering. A chart reading can also help to understand life’s purpose, improve relationships with important people and give direction in career by assessing individual strengths and weaknesses for overall better decisions achieving success, happiness and balance in all areas of life.
